100% all day

100% all day, every day. That’s what you have to do in order to be successful, right? That’s what you’re told from these sketchy magazines and companies trying to sell you supplements that’ll help keep you going. Rest is for the weak—and if you take breaks you’re destined to fail.

This stuff makes me so angry. I hate seeing others get taken advantage of because they are so desperate to speed up their progress. I used to be one of those people in constant search of a shortcut. The right road always intimidated me. After accepting the only way I’d ever get anywhere was to do all of the work necessary, I began seeing results. This goes for fitness goals, nutrition goals, career goals, whatever goals. You have to do the work. The shortcuts are a scam and the rest days are a MUST. Goals are always achievable if you take the appropriate steps along the way. Don’t rush things. Eventually you will learn to love the process.

PS I wasn’t feeling well at all last night after work, so you get three blogs from me today…I know it’s kind’ve an overload. I kept this one extra short on purpose.
